Expanded Accredited Calibration Scope LK-027
As an accredited calibration laboratory and inspection body, we provide traceable, accurate, and reliable measurements for a wide range of measuring instruments. The new accreditation appendix confirms the expansion of our calibration services, improved measurement capabilities, and an even higher level of quality in the services we deliver to our customers.
With the new appendix to Accreditation Certificate LK-027, Alba Calibration Laboratory and Inspection Body has expanded its accredited scope by introducing a completely new field of length calibration, extending the temperature range for thermometer calibration, and achieving improved measurement uncertainties.
New Service: Accredited Calibration of Vernier Calipers up to 500 mm
For the first time, our accredited scope now includes calibration of vernier calipers up to 500 mm in length.
Calibrations are performed in the Alba calibration laboratory using an internal method and certified reference length standards, ensuring fully traceable and reliable measurement results. This new capability allows customers to verify the accuracy of dimensional measuring equipment in accordance with internationally recognized accreditation requirements.
Expanded Capability: Accredited Calibration of Indicating Thermometers up to 300 °C
Thanks to new professional calibration equipment, we have extended our accredited calibration range for indicating thermometers in an oil bath and can now perform accredited calibrations up to 300 °C.
This enhancement enables us to support even more demanding industrial temperature applications. Calibrations are available both:
- In the Alba calibration laboratory (up to 300 °C)
- On-site at customer locations (up to 150 °C)
Improved Measurement Uncertainties
The updated Accreditation Certificate LK-027 also confirms significant improvements in the measurement capabilities of our calibration procedures:
- Indicating thermometer calibration in an oil bath: best measurement uncertainty of 0.08 °C
- Indicating thermometer calibration in a climatic chamber: measurement uncertainty of 0.50 °C
These improvements provide customers with even greater confidence in the accuracy, traceability, and reliability of their measurement results.
