Calibration of Scales

  • Non-automatic scales and balances (1 mg – 250000 kg)
  • Weighing instruments in workshops for the roadworthiness tests of motor vehicles (for weights up to 10 t )

The calibration of non-automatic scales and weighing instruments in workshops for the roadworthiness tests of motor vehicles – tracks for motor bikes, personal and freight vehicles is performed based on the comparative method by weighing standard weights. The process is based of the relevant EURAMET guideline cg-18.


Calibration of Weights

  • standard weights (laboratory: 1 mg – 20 kg, on-site: 1 mg – 500 kg)
  • conventional mass of objects of any other mass (laboratory: 1 g - 60 kg, on-site: 60 kg – 25 t)

Calibration of weights in the categories E2, F1, F2 and M and of the objects of any other mass is performed in our aboratory, while heavier objects can also be calibrated at customer site. Our procedure is based on the comparative method, following OIML R111, by using referential standard weights of the same nominal mass.
